Project Description
Farmers Cooperative Company is the largest local cooperative in Iowa with headquarters in Farnhamville, Iowa. An 800,000 bushel grain storage annex and a 20,000 BPH receiving and transfer system is connected to the existing workhouse that Todd & Sargent built in 1976 to transfer grain to the existing rail loadout system. Slipformed Annex Storage
- Two 68’ diameter x 135’ high silos.
- 800,000 bushel capacity.

Annex Receiving & Reclaim System
- 20,000 BPH truck receiving and top-fill distribution system.
- 20,000 BPH gravity screener with internal bypass.
- Gravity hoppers (3’ x 5’) reclaim silos directly to 20,000 BPH leg.
- Flat floored with “bobcat” doors for cleanout.
- Aeration and temperature detection system.

Transfer System
- 20,000 BPH belt conveyor/distributor to tie into existing storage and rail shipping system.
- Box bridge spanning 150’ over street to support transfer belt.
- Retrofit existing workhouse bins to accept from annex transfer.
