INLAND GRAIN TERMINAL
Parrish and Heimbecker, Limited is a private, family-owned business, founded in 1909. It is involved in many aspects of agri-business including grain procurement and merchandising, milling, animal nutrition programs, poultry farming, and food processing.
Summary of Project:
Slipformed Concrete Elevator
• 340,000 bushels of storage in 20 bins with 9 on 12 slickcoat hoppers
• Two bucket elevators, two transfer drags, and top double distributor, each rated at 20,000 BPH distribution for elevator bins, cleaner system, future flat storage, and future annex tanks
• Reclaim from future storage, rated at 20,000 BPH
• 40,000 BPH elevator reclaim belt conveyor fed by proportioning gates
Receiving & Shipping Systems:
• Truck Receiving rated at 20,000 BPH with 10’ x 110’ aspirated “dump-thru” truck scale incorporating a 6’ x 54’ dump grate
• Truck loadout and audit recirculation spout rated at 20,000 BPH
• Three track rail loadout rated at 40,000 BPH
• 40,000 BPH Shipping Bulk Weigher with 50 tonne upper garner
• 40,000 BPH Sampling System
• Railcar Reclaim System rated at 10,000 BPH
Auxiliary Systems
• Facility and Cleaner Dust Systems with 5,000 CF dust loadout bin
• Erect pre-engineered metal buildings for Receiving Control Office, Cleaning Enclosure, and Rail Loadout Booth
• 500# capacity manlift with stops at grade, bulkweigher, and bin deck
